Meredith Dolhare

Meredith has quite the impressive race resume: she once completed in three Ironman events in three countries on three consecutive weekends (Ironman France, Austria, Switzerland). Additionally, she has completed 12 full Ironman and 12 half Ironman events before switching to ultrarunning and ultracycling following spinal fusion and reconstruction in 2012. Meredith is also a two-time Furnace Creek 508-mile Bicycle Race finisher.


Meredith founded the nonprofit in Charlotte, North Carolina, in April 2012, and now they have six affiliates in North and South Carolina using sport to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness one stride at a time. They serve 70-100 men, women and children ages 4-65 each week and do races and other events on the weekends.

Not only does Meredith have a screw in her foot,her has a plate and six screws in her cervical spine. She played Division I tennis in college (UCLA and Vanderbilt) and was top 10 in the country, plus she has a really fast (runner) son named Noah who is 16.

Career Highlights:
• One Epic 24-Hour Run 1st female/ 3rd overall/course record holder.
• Finished 2nd at the Ultraman UK.
• 3rd place finish at the Badwater 135 Ultramarathon.
